The White Swiss Shepherd

Anyone who has ever experienced the soul of this dog will always feel connected to her.
and never get rid of this breed.

The White Swiss Shepherd is a dog of great nobility and temperament, with a very strong, independent personality. He is an imposing figure. He is a well-muscled, powerful dog. The White Swiss Shepherd is very attentive and alert. Nevertheless, he is not a noisy, barking daredevil, but rather a calm, cool protector in the background. He accompanies his owner like a shadow, going everywhere he goes. He is very family-oriented and by no means suitable for being kept solely in a kennel. He is very intelligent and eager to learn, but he should not be trained or educated with harshness or force, but rather with a lot of love and trust, using play and his prey drive.
He needs plenty of exercise and a job that suits his instincts, and he deserves our attention. Under-stimulation or neglect causes the dog immense suffering, but he suffers silently. This is where the owner's responsibility comes in. He gets along very well with other dogs if he is socialized with them from a young age. It's advisable to enroll the White Swiss Shepherd in a puppy socialization group as a puppy and later in training classes as he matures. He also gets along well with other pets such as cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, or birds kept in the same household. The White Swiss Shepherd is a tireless dog and can also run alongside horses. Horse riding and dog ownership are easily combined. However, if the dog is to run with a horse, he should be an adult and have a solid grasp of basic obedience commands. He is generally suitable for all kinds of sports, but you'll quickly find the perfect sport for your dog that brings joy to both him and you. Not every dog is suited to every sport; perhaps your dog will particularly enjoy tracking or searching, which fosters a strong teamwork between dog and owner. Due to the White Swiss Shepherd's inherent calmness and even temperament, it is excellent for therapy work and visitation. The White Swiss Shepherd has a very, very good nose, and its hunting instinct is therefore quite pronounced (more so in some than in others). With appropriate, consistent training, however, this instinct can be managed, allowing both owner and dog to enjoy nature together in a relaxed manner. Grooming requirements vary for the White Swiss Shepherd, as there are two coat types: long-coated (long fur) and short-coated (smooth fur).
Naturally, the long-coated variety requires more maintenance and should be brushed and combed at least three times a week to remove the undercoat and allow the skin to breathe. The short-coated variety usually only needs brushing once a week. However, during shedding season, both coat types should receive thorough daily grooming. Surprisingly, the white coat is very easy to keep clean; even the most stubborn dirt falls off the dog as soon as the hair dries. The White Shepherd is, even in appearance, a noble dog. Its movements are magnificent, and its gait is tireless. Its temperament is profoundly peaceful, and it trusts its owner unconditionally.
He is considered a family and companion dog, and as such, he is a loyal companion to the family, including the children and even the youngest children, never endangering them through territorial claims. Even serious mistakes made by the children towards him within his family will be tolerated by the White Shepherd, who will retreat rather than defend himself.

Snow so white, a touch of light,
The German Shepherd, you can't see him.
But his soul, faithful and clear, unites us!

For a lifetime, even, how wonderful.
