Are you really aware that that cute little puppy will very quickly grow into a large, fully grown dog? German Shepherds can reach a shoulder height of approximately 60 cm or more and weigh between 35 kg and 47 kg by the time they are one year old.
They should also be aware that a dog incurs ongoing costs beyond the initial purchase price. The upkeep of a dog is not insignificant. The initial purchase price is very low compared to the ongoing expenses associated with owning a dog.

The right clothing

This includes our wellies in particular, and at least for me as a woman I can say: I may not have more wellies than pumps, but I definitely enjoy them more and don't have sore feet after an hour's walk ;)
