Our clinic
The "Small Animal Clinic" in Heskem was founded in 1971 by Dr. Albert Lemmer. It was modernized and expanded in 1976 and 1989. Since 2003, the veterinary clinic for small animals has been under the direction of Dr. Wolfram Lemmer. In 2008, the clinic was further expanded through additions and renovations.
The clinic's standards are ensured through regular inspections by the Hessian Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons.
Operations:
Most surgeries at our clinic are performed on an outpatient basis, meaning you can take your pet home either immediately after the procedure or after the recovery period. The procedures are generally performed under inhalation anesthesia. This method is gentle on the animal and easily controlled. Pulse oximetry, capnography, ECG, and respiratory monitors are available for monitoring the anesthesia. If circumstances require it, your pet will be admitted for intensive care. Two hospital units with appropriate kennels are available for these cases.
